WILTON 10 x 16" HORIZONTAL MITER CUT-OFF BAND SAW MODEL #7040M Featuring:

• With Mitering head, workpiece remains fixed while the head swivels to cut any angle from 0 to 45 degrees and locks with a quick acting lever. Photo shown is without Mitering capability.

• Equipped with Wilton's exclusive swivel control panel which allows the operator to access controls from the front or back of the machine

• Standard with Wilton's exclusive 6 contact point blade guide assemblies for greater accuracy and longer blade life. These adjustable guide assemblies utilize cam follower bearings mounted on eccentric shafts on both sides of the blade. Combined with the side bearings are carbide pads, which are positioned close to the material being cut, guiding the blade on both sides to guarantee accurate, square cuts. The back of the blade rides on two load bearings mounted on a pivot shaft enabling both bearings to equally share the load.

• Rapid Acting vise for simple, fast, and accurate set up. For standard cut offs, the ridged design makes square cuts easy. This design improves operator safety, allows for faster set up, increases through put, thereby lowering costs per cut. For Mitering no wrenches are needed to set up the vise. The angle can be pre-adjusted by simply loosening a handle.

• Standard variable speed drive allows the operator to fine tune the blade speed to maximize the performance. This again results in higher efficiency and lower costs per cut.

• 14" dia. cast iron blade wheels

• Heavy duty transmission utilizes hardened and ground gears operating in an oil bath. This provides a smooth, quiet drive train and positive SFM to the blade.

• The saw is gravity fed but controlled by a dual system of counter-balance springs working with a hydraulic cylinder to ensure smooth, constant feed pressure on the blade.

• 3 phase version
