The BS-918SA metal cutting band saw cuts up
to 9" round stock utilizing a strong cast iron base and bow.
The rigidity of the head allows for straighter cuts and is
further assisted by hardened roller bearings and carbide
inserts.
This metal cutting band saw is a
semi-automatic machine that has a hydraulic clamping vise
and down feed. When the cut is complete the saw blade stops
and the head automatically returns to the start position and
the vise opens ready for the next cut. A semi-automatic
metal band saw offers more production than manual models.
The saw head or
bow has a blade tension devise that allows bearings and saw
blades to last longer. A powerful coolant system cools the
blade and washes off chips and is assisted by a brass chip
