Baileigh Industrial's
SW-84 Hydraulic Ironworker is the perfect choice for any fabrication
shop looking to perform a multitude of operations. A true dual
operator machine, the SW-84 is the best choice where precision,
performance and perfection are of the utmost importance. This dual
operator design enables one operator to perform punching operations
while another can work at the notching or shearing stations - all at
full capacity! Incorporating a fully welded frame in a true vertical
movement "European" style Ironworker is the key to Baileigh
Industrial's class leading SW-84. This rigid framework leads to an
extremely quiet, smooth working Ironworker with no "snap" or "pop"
which can lead to premature machine failure and massive tooling
replacement costs.
All Baileigh Industrial Hydraulic Ironworkers feature a scaled (SAE/Metric)
oversized work table at the punching station as standard equipment.
This standard table incorporates a quick release, two piece design
for ease of punching angle iron - not optional as on so many others.
An included two piece punch holder with spanner wrench and T-slot
die holder base make for fast and easy tooling change over. This
combined with adjustable material stops (Standard!) and a manual
back gage (Standard!) show why the SW-84 should be your first
choice.
Shearing functions on round and square stock, angle iron, and flat
bar are easily accomplished on the Baileigh SW-84 at the included
shearing stations. Material hold down template with knurled
adjustment handle lends itself to fast, accurate shearing in a
variety of material sizes. The standard oversized, scribed table
(30, 45, and 60 deg.) with adjustable guide plates allow for
repeatable shearing at any angle desired. All shear functions are
done in a true vertical plane with a low approach angle leading to
buttery smooth, precise cuts with zero waste or deformity. Compare

When accurate notching is necessary, Baileigh's SW-84 leads the way
with amazingly clean notches. The Sw-84 has the ability to notch
angle iron gullet without deformity, eliminating the need for
secondary grinding or cleaning operations. An included oversize work
table with adjustable material stops along with the standard manual
back gage allow for precise control on production runs - saving you
money!
