Baileigh offers an extensive line of vertical and horizontal press brakes. Our brake presses are either NC (numerically controlled) or CNC (computer numerically controlled). Like all Baileigh machines these are built to the highest standards in the industry.
The vertical hydraulic press brake line consists of 7 models of NC and CNC models to choose from. They range from 33 up to 123 tons of hydraulic force in widths from 50” up to 157”. Our NC versions have a powered back gauge with digital positioning indicator. The bending beam position is encoder controlled and is illuminated on the digital positioning indicator. This encoder control allows for exact control of the downward position, making it a fantastically accurate machine. The CNC hydraulic press brakes have servo to encoder controls for the position of the downward stroke and servo to encoder controls of the back gauge. A Delem® brand programmer allows for up to 100 programs with up to 20 different bends per program. The controller offers multiple positions of the servo back gauge and multiple bend angles per program. All machines come standard with a 6 light safety curtain and standard production tooling. Models over 60 tons have hydraulic auto crowning features built in.
The horizontal bending presses come in 45 ton and 78 ton versions with CNC controls for positioning of the beam that holds the punch. The controller can hold 100 programs with up to 20 bends per program. The horizontal press brakes are a perfect complement to any machine or fabrication shop that does smaller pieces. The beauty of this type of machine is the part can lay flat on the table so it is perfectly square after being bent. The 45 ton machine has an 8” high beam while the 78 ton machine has a 12” high beam
