Features:
- The spindle, housing, motor, raising and lowering mechanism
are in a single self-contained unit, securely assembled to the
underside of the table for absolute 90° spindle-to-table
alignment
- The rugged drive spindle assembly and permanently lubricated
ball bearings are preloaded to prevent distortion at high
speeds, which assures accurate, chatter-free shaping
- Massive 40" x 27" table (with standard cast-iron extension
wings) provides extra support for shaping large work. Also, a
precision ground face and ribbed under-table-construction
prevents warping
- Precision milled 3/8" x 3/4" T-slot, miter slot accommodates
miter gauge, sliding miter jig and other accessories for holding
workpiece
- Conveniently-grouped controls are at the front of the
machine within easy reach of the operator from a normal working
position
- Deep-tapered spindle design allows for easy changing of
accessory spindles from 1/2" to 1-1/4" to permit use of a wide
variety of shaper cutters. Table opening size can be varied, as
needed, by removing special table insert rings
- Poly-V drive system transmits more efficient torque to the
spindle
- 4" O.D. dust outlet
