ATEK 42 Ton Brake |
|
The "PM Series" press brake is a pneumatic-mechanical design. Two air cylinders push up on a lever that pushes the ram down. Compressed air is only used for the ram downstroke, so it uses less air. Gravity quickly retracts the counterbalanced ram to its uppermost position. Stepping on the safety-covered foot pedal strokes the ram and removing your foot from the pedal retracts it. Ram speed and force are adjusted using the speed control valve and air line pressure regulator. A screw-adjusted positive stop for accurate, repeatable bends controls ram travel. This unique zero-backlash design with its inherent +/- 0 position tolerance is more accurate than a hydraulic press brake that uses switches, sensors,. and valves to stop ram motion. Features
