Our line of miter cold saws consists of a
manual cold saw line (with or without pneumatic clamping on
the vise), as well as semi-automatic mitering cold saws.
Each machine offers a two speed adjustment for most
different materials like mild steel, chromolly, and
stainless steel. A cold saw uses a circular saw blade that
runs in a bath of coolant increasing blade life, decreasing
dusts and grit, with no sparks. The real advantage of our
cold saws compared to any band saw on the market is if the
fabricator needs to use the machine as a miter saw. A cold
saw can miter a true 45 degree angle with no burr and will
be exact. Using bands saws might have a slight taper and
will definately have a burr to clean up before welding the
miters together. Our cold saws are made of a very heavy
casting and with our pivot point we eliminate chatter. The
heavier the cold saw the better, coupled with an industrial
grade gear box will improve blade life. Our cold saws
should be specified if cutting round tube, pipe, or solids;
square or rectangular tubing or solids; and should be used
in place of chop saws, band saws, abrasive saws, or circular
saws. Baileigh Industiral cold saws have mitering
capabilities of 150 degrees (90 degrees in one direction and
60 degrees in the other). All Baileigh cold saws have
double clamping vises, so both sides of the cut are clamped,
for truer cuts and less likelihood of damage to the cold saw
blades. Please enter this page and see why a Baileigh cold
miter saw is simply the best sawing machine on the market
for the investment.
