Birmingham CT-1440G Lathe

All Gear Head-Bench Lathe

Features:

  • Lathe bed is made of high tensile cast iron in a rigid construction structure; the bed was is hardened and ground
  • The main spindle is equipped with 2 precision taper roller bearings (30212, 30210)
  • Provides 12 spindle speeds from 70 to 1350 RPM. Speed is changed by means of a lever.
  • All gears headstock with oil immersion lubrication design eliminates vibration and V-belt replacement.
  • 2HP motor gives more power for heavy-duty cutting
  • Manufacture design includes heavy-duty floor stand along with full-length splashguard as standard equipment.
