Series, Heavy-Duty Electric Chain Hoists
- Engineered to
operate under tough conditions, JETelectric hoists feature totally
enclosed steel plate construction with durable powder coat finish
- Lifetime
lubricated helical gears for quiet operation and low maintenance - no
periodic oil changes
- Tough, heavy-duty
ventilated motor features class E insulation and reverse phase
protection for 3-phase windings, class B insulation with thermal
overload witch for 1-phase windings
- Reliable
electromagnetic brake DC brake eliminates the need for gap adjustment,
absorbs inertia and holds the load - even if power is interrupted
- Standard
features include quick-connect wiring for low voltage, 24V NEMA 4 pushbutton
control with strain relief, upper and lower limit switches, drop
forged safety hooks, 16-1/2 foot power cable with quick-connects and
heavy-duty chain
- All models rated
H3 with 25% duty cycle rating for 1-phase and 30% duty cycle rating
for 3-phase models
- 15% duty cycle
rating = 9 minutes continuous in 1 hour, or 1 minute on, 7 minutes off
25% duty cycle rating = 12 minutes continuous in 1 hour, or 1 minute
on, 4 minutes off
30% duty cycle rating = 18 minutes continuous in 1 hour, or 1 minute
on, 4 minutes off

Caution:
Be sure supporting structures and load attachment devices used in
conjunction with JET electric hoists provide adequate safety factors to
handle rated load plus the weight of the equipment. If in doubt, consult a
qualified structural engineer. This equipment is not to be used for
lifting, supporting or transporting people, or lifting or supporting loads
over people. Exceeding duty cycle rating may cause premature wear and
failure of the hoist.
