SMH Series HAND Chain Hoists

  • All purpose hand chain hoist features impact resistant, lightweight steel construction with durable powder coat finish

  • Needle bearing supported load sheave for long life and low wear

  • Triple spur gears provide high efficiency ratio

  • Low headroom for easy installation even in confined areas

  • Compact and portable with excellent load spotting capabilities

  • Induction hardened, corrosion resistant grade 80 load chain

  • Hand chain cover designed for smooth operation and prevents side pull jamming

  • Completely enclosed Weston type automatic brake system with two ratchet pawls for positive load control

  • Drop forged safety hooks with durable latches swivel 360½ for easy rigging

  • Proof tested and certified

  • Complies with OSHA, ANSI/ASME B30.16 and HST-2M standards

Be sure that the supporting structures and load-attaching devices used in conjunction with this hoist provide an adequate safety factor to handle the rated load plus the weight of the equipment. If in doubt, consult a qualified structural engineer. This equipment is not to be used for lifting, supporting or transporting people, or lifting or supporting loads over people
