Stone Construction Equipment, Inc. announces a next line of heavy-duty mortar mixers designed specifically for silo applications. The Stone Champion™ Silo Mixer line is comprised of two models – SM1200 and SM2000 – with capacities of 12 cu. ft. and 20 cu. ft. respectively. They have been designed specifically for dealers and contractors to be more productive, reliable, serviceable and operator-friendly.

To reduce dust contamination and extend the life of the engine, the mixers are powered by 13 hp Honda engines complete with cyclone air cleaners. The mixers also feature highly reliable name brand components including: Genuine Parker® Parts hoses and fittings, Eaton® hydraulic pumps and White® motors. Many of the industry recognized features that give Stone Champion Mortar Mixers their reputation for quality and reliability are also found on the Stone Silo Mixers. This includes Stone’s patented quadruple seal and bearing system in a removable housing, which provides the confidence that the mixers will stay up and running on the job.

The Silo Mixers feature adjustable legs to fit under any size silo. The legs which are easy for one person to adjust are configured in an A-frame design for added strength and stability. No outriggers are required.

Intuitive dumping and paddle drive controls are located on both sides of the cowl making the mixers easy to operate. The mixers deliver smooth uniform mixes batch after batch with Stone’s patented Power Blendâ system, which moves the paddles in a triple-8 mixing action. Bi-directional fork pockets allow the mixers to easily be transported and placed. Other design features include:
• Easy access to the engine, components and all service points is provided in a one-piece swing-away cowl.
• A removable 20-gallon baffled hydraulic tank for cooler running components.
• Patented guard lifter to move the guard out of the way when dumping.
• Patented starburst bag splitter to easily split bags when using in a standard mixer application.
