The Air Powered VacuPress is the newest addition to the VacuPress line. This model was designed with the same performance standards and attention to detail as our Standard VacuPress. It is an excellent choice for those on a budget who still expect professional results from their press.

The Air Powered VacuPress utilizes a venturi vacuum pump driven by standard compressed air. As the compressed air is forced through a limiting orifice in the venturi nozzle, the air pressure surrounding the high speed air stream is reduced, resulting in a vacuum. Vacuum Pressing Systems utilizes this simple and efficient principle of drawing vacuum as a cost effective method for veneering and laminating.

We use only "full flow", single stage venturi vacuum pumps for maximum vacuum draw throughout the entire vacuum process. This guarantees short evacuation time and low over-all compressed air usage, unlike mult-stage pumps that slow dramatically as soon as vacuum begins to draw.

This model features a dual power switch for both vacuum pressing and vacuum clamping. In the press mode the vacuum switch will automatically shut off the compressed air flow when the proper vacuum level is reached. In the clamp mode the pump operates continuously for holding down wooden parts.

Our Air Powered VacuPress is designed to be user friendly by incorporating a regulator for setting compressed air levels and a pressure and vacuum gauge to monitor performance. The vacuum switch is easily adjustable for setting vacuum levels, and our see-through filter jar provides easy access for periodic dust removal.

The Air Powered VacuPress utilizes flexible, durable 20 and 30 mil see-through vinyl bags that accommodate all types of flat and curved work. The 20 mil bag is for light duty use. The 30 mil bag is for more regular use by a professional shop. The Air Powered VacuPress can operate two bags by adding our manifold adapter.

Bag Features:

VacuPress Vacuum Bags have heat-welded seams and clampless, airtight vacuum hose attachmnets. The bags are double entry and have convenient, movable C-channel closures that give airtight seal and a firm grip against the pull of curved work. The channel closer at the end of the bag can be moved down the bag for smaller setups and faster pressing time
