An abrasive blasting pot is a pressure vessel used to contain a supply of abrasive material during the abrasive blasting process. Used as part of an abrasive blasting system, the abrasive blasting pot delivers a mixture of abrasive and compressed air to the blast nozzle for surface preparation. The Blastmaster 6.5 cu. ft. HP-Series Abrasive Blasting Pot has a pressure-hold remote control system, allowing the abrasive blasting pot to remain pressurized when the remote control switch is activated or deactivated, shortening the activation cycle. Typical applications include blast rooms, blast yards, bridges, oil refineries, pipelines, and storage tanks. Common abrasives used include aluminum oxide, crushed glass, garnet, mineral abrasives, slags, and steel grit/shot.

Increased Production
The pressure-hold remote control system allows the vessel to remain pressurized when the remote control switch is deactivated. This eliminates the time waiting for the vessel to depressurize and pressurize, increasing production rates.

Enhanced Safety
OSHA requires an air-blast pot to be equipped with a remote control system, which only operates with continuous hand pressure and closes immediately upon release of the control switch by the operator (29 CFR 1910.244(b)). The remote control system meets the OSHA requirement by providing a Fail-to-Safe configuration, which will deactivate the remote control system in the event the operator drops or loses control of the remote control switch.

Reduced Cost
This system reduces abrasive consumption by stopping the abrasive flow in the abrasive metering valve before it enters the air stream, greatly reducing abrasive chugging at activation. Reduced abrasive consumption lowers shipping, cleanup, and disposal costs.

	The Blastmaster 130 Remote Control System is a pressure-hold remote control system that uses a signal from the remote control switch to remotely activate and deactivate an abrasive blasting pot.
	The Blastmaster 6.5 cu. ft. M-Series Abrasive Blasting Pot steep angle, 90 degree cone bottom provides significantly improved abrasive flow versus a 60 degree dished cone.

	Blastmaster Junior Extractor Moisture Separator Blastmaster Junior Extractor Moisture Separator removes excess moisture, oil, and other debris from compressed air before entering the abrasive blasting pot.
	Abrasive Screen, Heavy-Duty Lid and Umbrella The abrasive screen, heavy-duty lid and umbrella help keep damaging debris out of the abrasive blasting pot.
	Loading Skid The Loading Skid helps to protect the valves from damage while transporting the air-blast pot.
	Abrasive Cut-Off Switch System The Abrasive Cut-Off Switch System allows the operator to use the Abrasive Blasting Hose to blow down the work surface after abrasive blasting.
