Baileigh PL-2060 Precision Metal Lathe

The PL-2060 gap bed lathe has a 20 inch swing and 60s between the centers and is the perfect size for almost any machine shop or fabrication shop where a precision cut is the most important thing.  The PL-2060 has a 15 hp motor that is run on220 volts of three phase power.  This is more than enough power to handle the most demanding jobs.

The body of the PL-2060 is made from cast iron that is precisely machined to exacting tolerances to ensure a rigid and stable platform in which to work.  Baileigh Industrial only uses the best casting suppliers for their lathes.  The ways are polished and have integrated wipers to keep them moving like the day they were ne for years to come.

Other key features of the PL-2060 gap bed lathe are digital readouts for both the x and y axis, making it easier than ever to make perfect cuts.  A 12 inch 3 jaw chuck with a 3-1/8 inch bore is also standard.  Baileigh Industrial tries to include all that is necessary to get your machine up and running, this includes longitudinal rapid traverse , 8 inch back plate, coolant system, steady rest, follow rest, headstock chuck guard with micro switch, micrometer saddle stop, rear splash guard, and halogen work light.
