The ChemGrout CG-600/8CF colloidal grout plant is a compact, medium duty, colloidal grout plant for applications that require colloidal mixing like post-tensioning, underground and heavy construction jobs. The colloidal mixer easily mixes slurries of cement, fly ash, bentonite, microfine cements and other fine grained materials. This compact grout plant is designed to provide a simultaneous mixing and pumping operation. This unit features an 8 cubic foot mix tank with the ChemGrout 2X3X6 high shear colloidal mix pump, a 9 cubic foot agitated storage tank and a 20 GPM closed inlet grout pump. The colloidal mixer is equipped with a high shear, diffuser-type pump rotating at speeds up to 2000 RPM that disperses the dry material down to its finest particle size to achieve complete particle wetness. The mixing tank is also equipped with a powered bridge breaker to assist induction of dry materials into the colloidal mixer. After mixing, the material is transferred to the variable speed, high efficiency, agitated holding tank which maintains uniform consistency in preparation for pumping. The grout pump is available with a closed inlet (optional open throat available) size 6, 3 stage progressing cavity, positive displacement, rotor-stator pump. The open throat grout pump allows for a final quality control check and convenient sampling prior to pumping. The closed inlet pump prevents air entrainment in the grout mix and meets the specification for PT grouting. The rugged steel frame stands up to the toughest conditions on the job site. Operator controls are centrally located for efficient production. All components are easily accessible for operating, cleaning and maintenance.
