Mastic Removal
The single beveled mastic removal blade is utilized to remove a wide variety of  adhesives, mastics and material residues from concrete surfaces. The steep angle increases the cutting edge position relative to the floor surfaces. The angle increases allows the blade to better penitrate the material and then shear and scrape it from the floor surface. the cutting edge faces down toward the floor surface. Angled mastic blades are utilized on concrete surface ONLY! Not intended to be used on a wood surface; blade will only dig into surface. The blade will NOT flip over
Material:
Laser cut, heat-treated, steel, sharpen edge
Application:
Mastic, adhesive and material build-up removal.
Hints:
Not intended to remove actual floor covering materials. Remove remaining material residue and mastic/adhesive on concrete floor ONLY. Steeper blade angle increases material removal rates over other blade configurations.
Dimensions:
4 inch x 6 inch x 1.5mm nominal

Dual Beveled
The dual beveled blade is utilized to remove a wide variety of VCT and linoleum tiles along with general material removeal from concrete and wood surfaces. There are two types: bevel up for concrete and bevel down for wood. This allows the blade to skim over the surface and minimize an tendency to gouge or dig into the material. The blade will flip over
Material:
Laser cut, heat-treated, steel, sharpen edge
Application:
General purpose material removal. Narrow width increases productivity against difficult to remove materials. Dual edges double blade service life.
Hints:
Position beveled edge UP on concrete floor. Position beveled edge DOWN on wood floor. Blade can be field sharpened.
Dimensions:
4 inch x 6 inch x 1.5mm nominal

Scoring
The single beveled blade is utilized to remove glued type carpets and soft sheet types (PVC, rubber, linoleum, etc) materials from concrete to wood surfaces. There are two types: bevel up for concrete and bevel down for wood. This allows the blade to skim over the surface and minimize an tendency to gouge or dig into the material. The cutting wings score the covering material to aid in removal. Specific part numbers are available for removing  covering materials from either concrete or wood surfaces. The blade will NOT flip over
Material:
Laser cut, heat-treated, steel, sharpen edge
Application:
Remove rubber-back carpet and linoleum.
Hints:
Blades are NOT interchangeable for use on concrete and wood floors. Use proper blade for application. Position beveled edge UP on concrete floor. Position beveled edge DOWN on wood floor. Blade can be field sharpened.
Dimensions:
3 inch x 8 inch x 1.5mm nominal

Coatings Removal System
(SCRAPE-R-TACH®)
The SCRAPE-R-TACH floor coatings removal system utilizes two Tungsten Carbide inserts providing 16 wear edges. Designed for removing a wide range of urethanes, rubber membranes, material buildups, paints, masticd, etc. Production rates of up to several hundred square feet per hour the SCRAPE-R-TACH system bring a quick return on investment
Material:
Tungston carbide
Application:
Removal of thicker layers of materials, including:
adhesives, epoxies, urethanes and paints.
Hints:
Tungsten carbide inserts feature 8 wear edges. Test procedure: scrape blunt file edge against surface to determine effectiveness. Use water and sand slurry to increase productivity on extrudable materials. Add weight to grinder to increase productivity.
Service Life:
Variable from 1 to 8 hours per wear edge.
Dimensions:
(1) Quad-Sert™ insert: 1 inch x 1 inch

Wire Brush
Flat steel wires are set in plastic blocks. Brushes quickly remove materials such a softer grease, wax, food by-products and rubber backing during carpet removal. When producing exposed aggregate slabs, wire brushes clean away the slower setting concrete while not disturbing the aggregate. Other practical uses include roughing linoleum tiles for the application of urethane coverings, the removal of blistering and peeling paint, plaster droppings and material accumulations from warehouse floors. For increase service life, bushes should be rotated between discs every hour of operation to remove any directional set. Additional weight added to the grinder will not normally increase productivity rates
Material:
Nylon plastic body with flat wire spring steel wire bristles
Application:
Remove soft deposit on floor or to "rough" up linoleum floors prior to new covering
Dimensions:
2 inch x 2 inch x 4 inch
