LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY
GENERAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY makes the following limited warranty to the original purchaser of each new and unused light construction equipment
product:
GENERAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE LIGHT CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS SOLD HEREUNDER SHALL BE MERCHANTABLE OR THAT SUCH PRODUCTS SHALL BE FIT FOR
ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED MADE OTHER THAN ITS STANDARD, LIMITED WARRANTY.
WHAT THE LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS
GENERAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY warrants that each new and unused light construction equipment product and or accessory product sold by it: A) to be
free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use/service for a period of two (2) years from date of purchase: B) to warrant the labor expenses associated with defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. The obligation under this warranty being limited to current flat labor rates and the replacement and/or repair at its
Owatonna, Minnesota, factory site, or at an authorized dealer designated by it, of such part or parts as shall appear upon inspection to have been defective in material or workmanship at the time
sold, provided that the part or parts claimed defective are returned to the inspection point, transportation charges prepaid. At the time of requesting warranty service, the purchaser must present
evidence of the purchase date of the part or parts submitted for warranty inspection.
The only remedies the purchaser has in connection with the breach of performance of any warranty for the light construction equipment products sold by GENERAL
EQUIPMENT COMPANY are those set forth in this document. In no event will GENERAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY, its authorized dealer or representative, or any company affiliated with
GENERAL EQUIPMENT COMPANY be held liable for any incidental or consequential damages or injuries.
WHAT THE LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This warranty does not cover depreciation or damage caused by: normal wear, accident, improper protection in storage, improper use, alterations, tampering, the
environment, improper maintenance, lack of maintenance or incidental costs incurred by the original purchaser while the light construction equipment product is being examined and or repaired under
warranty. In addition to the above limitations and/or exclusions, the following basic product components are not covered by the limited warranty:
1) Parts and/or components subject to wear with normal usage, but not specifically limited to the following:
a) High impact/wear related components including, but not limited to: V-belts, flails, flail rods and flail drums.
b) High abrasion/wear related components including, but not limited to: augers, auger flighting and boring heads.
c) Engine throttle control cable assembly and related control devices.
d) Centrifugal clutch components including, but not limited to: shoes, springs, drum and motor assembly.
2) Parts and labor for scheduled and general maintenance services as defined in the applicable Operators Manual.
3) Engines, motors, controls and other accessories sold with, attached to, or operated with a light construction equipment product sold by GENERAL EQUIPMENT
COMPANY and warranted separately by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) per its respective warranty program. Contact the Customer Service Department of GENERAL EQUIPMENT
COMPANY for assistance in obtaining specific OEM warranty coverage.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how
long an implied warranty will last or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. These limitations may not apply to the original purchaser.
