CAPTAIN 4000

Designed for permanent installation and smooth rotation, the Captain 4000 stationary davit crane can handle heavy loads up to 5,500 pounds (2,500 kg) and features an extended reach of 10 feet, as well as a maximum hook height of 12 feet. This crane is perfect for wind energy, marine, construction, water/wastewater, and oil and gas applications.

SERIES MODELS

5FT40

Features:

Welded Steel Construction welderCrane boom, mast and base fabricated from heavy duty steel that limits deflection and meets ASTM standards.
Manual or Power Operation Thern davit cranes can be configured with a spur or worm gear manual winch or power winch. Choose from Thern’s spur or worm gear hand winches or power winches with 115/1/60 as standard. Other voltages available as well as pneumatic, hydraulic or DC Volt power operation. Worm gear hand winch configuration can be drill-driven.
Mast and Boom Rotate A tapered roller bearing allows for smooth and easy 360 deg crane rotation under load. Mast locks in one of four positions with hand-tightened lock bolt. Rotational handle located on mast for easy rotation.
Corrosion Resistant Finish Red enamel finish resists corrosion in harsh environments. Epoxy finish also available.
