General Equipment SG24-E Surface Grinder

General's SG24/E electric surface grinder features various grinding systems for breaking up deposits of grease, dirt, rubber carpet backing and industrial residues; cleaning concrete, asphalt and tiles; producing exposed aggregate slabs; and buffing and polishing delicate terrazzo and marble floor surfaces.

The SG24/E features twin, counter-rotating discs that can work a 24"x12" area. These standard discs can be quickly removed to allow attaching standard 10" diameter, multi-segmented dry diamond discs for increased productivity on polymer concrete, epoxy, plastic overlays and critical flat floor installations.

Power is derived from a totally enclosed, fan-cooled 2 horsepower electric motor with dual range, 115/230 VAC operation. A three horsepower, 220/230 VAC electric motor is also available. Featuring a heavy duty, dual V-belt/spur gear transmission, the unit also has an adjustable position handle for variances in operator height. In addition, the caster wheel height is adjustable to accommodate differences in grinding system selection and component wear.
