Grinding Stones - Grind or Polish Concrete

	Grinding Stones
	The C06 and C10 is a coarse grade and one of the most popular and provided the maximum material removal rates. They are utilized for general grinding and the removal of trowel marks., hight spots and rought sections on concrete surfaces. The average servise life is approximately : 4 to 10 hours The C24 is a medium grade stone that will result in a lower material removal rates. It is utilized for finer finish grinding of concrete and rought grinding on terrazzo and other tyes of stone floor configurations. The average service life is approximately: 6 to 10 hours. The C80 is a fine grade stone the will result in still lower material removal rates. It is utilized for polishing concrete and medium grinding on terrazzo and other tyes of stone floor configurations with a water/slurry mixture only. The average service life is approximately: 8 to 20 hours. The C120 is a super fine grade stone the will result in still lower material removal rates. It is utilized for final polishing concrete and medium grinding on terrazzo and other tyes of stone floor configurations with a water/slurry mixture only. The average service life is approximately: 40 to 75 hours.
Specifications:

Material:	Silicon carbide as the abrasive medium and a clay binder as the matrix.
Application:	Remove up to 1/8 inch material thickness. The larger the number, the finer the grain structure and usually, the smoother the resulting finish
Finish:	Coarse to supper fine grades available
Hints:	C10 stone most popular. Water and slurry minimizes clogging. Do not use to remove any thickness of paints, adhesives, epoxies, etc because of clogging characteristics similar to sandpaper.
Service Life:	Up to 5000 square feet.

Diamond (DIAM-A-TACH) - Grind or Polish Concrete

	Diamonds - DIAM-A-TACH
	White identification color, softer matrix composition, for many general purpose applications. 30 to 40 grit. Silver identification color, medium matrix composition, for use on epoxy mortar (abrasive) or more abrasive materials. 40 to 50 grit. Red identification color, finish matrix composition, for use on finish grinding (polishing) applications requiring minimal swirl marks. 100 to 120 grit, stamped "R" on pin shank.

Application:	Removal of thin layers of materials without clogging, including adhesives, epoxies, urethanes, paints and concrete.
Hints:	Segments are directionally marked to increase diamond tail service life. Normal segment wear: .015 inch per 8 hour day. Variety of matrix/diamond configurations available. Use wet or dry.
Finish:	Sanded finsish to a polished finished
Service Life:	Up to 50,000 square feet. (up to 15 time longer than carbide grinding stones)

	Scarifiers
	Available in carbide tipped 5 point flails for and aggressive chipping action. Also, available in multipoint hardened steel flails for a fine finish or for breaking up hardened deposits of forring matter or concrete floors.

Hints:	Not recommended for soft or "gummy" deposits.

	Coatings Removal System (SCRAPE-R-TACH)
	The SCRAPE-R-TACH floor coatings removal system utilizes two Tungsten Carbide inserts providing 16 wear edges. Designed for removing a wide range of urethanes, rubber membranes, material buildups, paints, masticd, etc. Production rates of up to several hundred square feet per hour the SCRAPE-R-TACH system bring a quick return on investment.
Specifications:

Material:	Tungston carbide
Application:	Removal of thicker layers of materials, including: adhesives, epoxies, urethanes and paints.
Hints:	Tungsten carbide inserts feature 8 wear edges. Test procedure: scrape blunt file edge against surface to determine effectiveness. Use water and sand slurry to increase productivity on extrudable materials. Add weight to grinder to increase productivity.
Service Life:	Variable from 1 to 8 hours per wear edge.

WIRE BRUSH - Strip Coatings From Surfaces

	Wire Brush
	Flat steel wires are set in plastic blocks. Brushes quickly remove materials such a softer grease, wax, food by-products and rubber backing during carpet removal. When producing exposed aggregate slabs, wire brushes clean away the slower setting concrete while not disturbing the aggregate. Other practical uses include roughing linoleum tiles for the application of urethane coverings, the removal of blistering and peeling paint, plaster droppings and material accumulations from warehouse floors. For increase service life, bushes should be rotated between discs every hour of operation to remove any directional set. Additional weight added to the grinder will not normally increase productivity rates.
